The Heart Behind Secret Place

My name is Minister Nija Taylor, and I am a licensed minister, a wife to my wonderful husband, Lee Taylor, and a proud mother of two daughters, Rylie and Ariyana, and one son, Nolan. Above all, I am a woman who loves God and believes wholeheartedly in the transforming power of His presence.

Secret Place Women's Ministry was birthed from a desire to create a space where women can encounter God, experience healing, discover their identity in Christ, and build genuine connections with other women of faith.

I believe that every woman deserves a place where she can come as she is, without the pressure of having everything figured out. A place where she can lay down the weight of life's challenges, be reminded of God's promises, and find strength in His presence.

As women, we often carry so much. We are wives, mothers, daughters, leaders, caregivers, and so much more. In the midst of pouring into everyone else, it can become easy to neglect the most important relationship we will ever have, our relationship with God.

That is the heart behind Secret Place Women's Ministry.

I wanted to create more than just another women's group. I wanted to cultivate a sisterhood rooted in God's presence. A community where women are encouraged to seek Him beyond Sunday morning services, beyond titles, and beyond the expectations placed upon them. A place where we can grow spiritually, heal emotionally, and become the women God has called us to be.

I believe true healing begins when we discover who God is and, through that relationship, begin to understand who we are in Him. His presence brings peace to troubled hearts, restoration to broken places, strength in seasons of weakness, and hope when life feels uncertain.

Secret Place Women's Ministry is built on the belief that before we can grow outwardly, we must first allow God to develop us inwardly. Some of the most beautiful transformations happen in the hidden places, in moments of prayer, surrender, obedience, and intimacy with God.

Through biblical teaching, prayer, meaningful conversations, fellowship, and intentional sisterhood, my prayer is that women will not only grow in their knowledge of God but develop a personal and lasting relationship with Him.

I don't believe we were created to walk this journey alone. We need women who will pray with us, encourage us, challenge us to grow, and remind us of God's truth when life becomes difficult.

My vision is simple: to see women healed, strengthened, rooted in God's Word, and confident in their God-given identity and purpose.
